Some things I love about camping
Deep & meaningful conversations by the campfire.
Complete nonsense conversations by the campfire.
Leaving the calorie counter & makeup bag at home.
Your guy friends gaining "man" points, subsequently making them a lot more attractive to the opposite sex*
Having no phone reception.
The first coffee of the day (somehow being on a campsite makes a really bad instant coffee taste wonderful)
Laughing. A lot.
Cooking creatively with foil/coal/cast iron (this often involves lots of butter/carbs/bacon, see point #3)
*"man" points are most commonly achieved by any of the following; lighting a fire, reversing a trailer, using a chainsaw, splitting firewood.
